Its always so exciting when I get to reunite with old pals through photography! šŸ™‚ Especially when they’re engaged! Getting to reunite under such joyful circumstances never ceases to delight me! Ā Liz and Nathan actually contacted me a while back for a couple shoot, and for some odd reason we just couldn’t seem to schedule a date! But a few months later down the line, it was just meant to be! Liz sends me an exciting email that she was engaged!! –Turning their couples shoot, into an official engagement shoot. Awesome right?

One thing I first noticed about Liz and Nathan is they are incredibly fun and easy going! They were pretty much up for every idea and every location I threw their way, from flying (in the grass) to blasting balls of light at each other. In addition to being so easy going, Ā I learned that both of them are amazingly musically talented! Liz plays the Bassoon and Nathan plays the Bass. Ā They Ā (of course) met because both of them were music librarians at school. šŸ™‚ Ā Thank you for being so easy and fun to work with! I hope we can get together and sample your delicious home made ravioli. Yum yum. šŸ˜‰

This is one of my new favorite shots! šŸ™‚

On cloud 9

We cut out the cute little hearts and clouds together before we shot this šŸ™‚

LIz had mentioned to me they loved playing scrabble with one another as a means to keep in touch via long distance. I knew we had to incorporate that somehow! Thus Scrabble Slam Cards šŸ™‚

Hey You! ….

….Save the date šŸ™‚Ā

I asked them to pick out a word that described the other person, only to be revealed when they received their pictures šŸ™‚ Ā

A Bass is a SERIOUSLY impressive instrument. This one has an amazing history tied to it.

I’ve learned to appreciate instruments so much more than I did before.

A pair in perfect Harmony ;P

HADOUKEN! Ā who’s going to win??

KO – Liz wins!

Lets combine our forces…

….and make something beautiful

and just for fun….

BLOOPER!

Eat Spaghetti!! –as Nathan put it Ā haha šŸ™‚ This was our first attempt. Not quite the “HADOUKEN! Ā (or RASENGAN! for you young’ins) I envisioned, but all three of us had a really good laugh with how it turned out. Ā Ā I was trying to create a bright bright light by shining the flashlight around in circles! but instead of making it look like an amazing ball of blasting light, it ended up looking like glowing strings of spaghetti instead… FAIL
