I LOVE the Waltons!! The are such a happy, bubbly and sweet family! I’ve known Jamie since high school, back in the good ol’ days of VPHS. We instantly bonded over the fact that we were the 2 of 5 shortest girls in our entire class. haha =) Jamie is actually one of the few high school friends I’ve had the pleasure of being able to keep in touch with through the years! As one of the first of our class to tie the knot, I always looked to her for advice and wisdom as I was going through tumults in my college relationships. She always was so willing to lend a listening ear and give me her two cents (something I deeply appreciated) Its so amazing to see how far we’ve come since then–from High School, to UCSD, to marriage, to seeing our hubbies through the grueling process of getting into medical school– I’m so thankful for the friendship we’ve been able to preserve through the years =)
For the shoot, I definitely wanted to capture some of that fun loving nature of the family! We decided to go somewhere close to home (The Orange Circle) and have a picnic, complete with story time and balloons. Gracie was just the cutest girl I’ve ever met, constantly smiling, giggling and laughing– absolutely ADORABLE! It started sprinkling just a bit, so we ended up going back to their home and completing the shoot there.
